
Language and Reading Courses
Edgenics offers school districts the opportunity to establish
supplemental language and reading programs based on innovative, research based, software tools and instructional
programs. Edgenics is working with leading university
professors and other experts to develop and deliver innovative language and reading tools that enhance the learning
process. These language and reading resources and tools that Edgenics offers are based in extensive scientific research and field trials. The leading edge research, that provides the
foundation for Edgenics language and reading tools, is produced by leading experts in a number of scientific fields. Much of the research was originally funded by the National Science
Foundation and conducted at leading universities.
These language and reading programs utilize software and
internet based tools to enhance the learning process. These tools are also optimized to engage students in systematic exercises that build fundamental language and reading skills. These
programs are implemented thru collaborative initiatives
involving Edgenics, leading universities, other experts and
participating school districts. To address “digital divide” issues, Edgenics and local organizations can work with school districts to establish Programs that provide interactive computer
classroom facilities needed for access to our software based
resources. An objective is to help more students excel in
language and reading.
Edgenics can work with school districts to establish pilot
programs. The ultimate objective is to provide these language and reading programs on a school district wide basis. The
language and reading programs can be customized to fit into each school district’s overall curriculum and schedule.
Edgenics SAT Online Courses
Edgenics offers school districts the opportunity to establish comprehensive programs to assist students in preparing for the SAT exam. These programs are implemented thru a collaborative initiative involving Edgenics, the College Board and school
districts. To address “digital divide” issues, Edgenics and local organizations can work with school districts to establish
programs that provide interactive computer classroom facilities needed for access to the on-line courses. An objective is to help more students achieve their goal of becoming successful college students.
The key components of the online course are:
- 6 practice tests and 600+ questions that follow proprietary SAT specifications.
- Detailed personalized feedback on all practice tests and quizzes.
- Interactive lessons, which cover SAT math, critical reading, and writing sections, as well as the PSAT/NMSQT.
- Lessons feature interactive activities and multimedia content to create an engaging learning environment.
- Explanations of answers to all questions on the online course and to all 8 practice tests in The Official SAT Study Guide.
